Happy Hours Market is a mobile app that lets you find discounted food (and other items) near you. In addition to saving money, Happy Hours Market helps you consume responsibly and combat food waste by giving a second life to products that would otherwise be thrown away.
A close and fruitful collaboration
Happy Hours Market enlisted the help of Latte Macchiat.io to help them develop a new version of their mobile app, completely reimagining the user experience.
By integrating directly with the HHM team, we worked hand in hand to design an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows users to easily find the products they're looking for, optimize the checkout process, and take advantage of Happy Hours Market's exclusive offers.
For a new mobile app!
Thanks to Ambroise Bellec's design, we were able to develop the entire frontend of the application and rework each screen to provide a smoother and more enjoyable user experience.
No fewer than 20 screens were redesigned for an optimal user experience.
The result? A more modern and efficient mobile application that helps its users save money while fighting even harder against food waste.
But that's not all!
Following this first collaboration in 2024, we were fortunate enough to be called back by Happy Hours Market for a new mission, this time a little less visible but still important: updating the technical stack (Flutter, libraries, and other components) and providing consultancy and advice for the organization of the team, code, and infrastructure.
We also implemented some new features and helped the team with a new way to order... which is coming soon!
Easy as 1-2-3
This time, we're changing scope for this third mission: we're moving away from the mobile app to focus on the backend to make it better structured, faster, more robust, and more secure. As always, the idea is not to impose, but to co-build with the team to take them ever higher, ever further; with the common goal of better serving HHM's customers.
